The UAE is celebrating Eid Al Fitr today, Sunday, March 30, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan following the sighting of the Shawwal crescent on March 29. As the nation rejoices in the festivities, UAE leaders have extended warm Eid greetings to the people and Muslims worldwide.

UAE President’s Eid Message.

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate the nation and Muslims across the world on the special occasion.

“On the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, I congratulate my brothers, the rulers of the Emirates, the people of the UAE, and Muslims around the world. Together, we pray for God to grant peace, blessings, and prosperity to all,” wrote the President.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also shared his warm wishes, emphasizing hope and prosperity for all.
