Traffic Advisory Issued Ahead of the 29th Dubai World Cup!

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the 29th edition of the Dubai World Cup, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 5 at Meydan Racecourse in Nad Al Sheba.

Motorists should expect congestion in the surrounding areas and are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance.

To ease access and reduce traffic pressure, the RTA has announced several transport options for the public.

Free Shuttle Buses & Public Transport Options!

Free shuttle buses will be running to Meydan Racecourse, including services from the Dubai Falcon Hospital. In addition, public buses will operate from 11:00 am, providing a smooth and hassle-free ride to the venue. Taxis across the city will also be available as a convenient option for attendees.

“To ensure smooth travel during the race, RTA encourages you to plan ahead and check real-time traffic updates via the #Shail app,” the authority stated on social media.

RTA strongly recommends using public transport to avoid delays and congestion around the venue.

Getting to Meydan Racecourse.

Meydan Racecourse & Grandstand is located in Nad Al Sheba 1, and is easily accessible through major highways:

• From Sheikh Zayed Road (Dubai/Abu Dhabi): Take Exit 47, follow signs to Nad Al Sheba, then turn onto Al Meydan Road (D69).

• From Al Ain via Dubai-Al Ain Road: Take Exit 7, follow Nad Al Sheba signage, and proceed to Al Meydan Road (D69).

Taxis will drop off and pick up passengers at the Gate B ramp of the Meydan Grandstand.
