The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has issued a traffic advisory for motorists, announcing key road closures and diversions to facilitate ongoing infrastructure upgrades.

Dubai–Al Ain Road Closure: June 20–22

From 12am on June 20 to 12am on June 22, Jebel Ali–Lehbab Road (E77) will be closed in both directions at the bridge intersecting with Dubai–Al Ain Road (E66) due to essential bridge maintenance.

Drivers are advised to use the free right turns onto Dubai–Al Ain Road from either direction. Additionally, the exit from Dubai–Al Ain Road to Jebel Ali–Lehbab Road via the loops will be closed, and motorists should use the next exit on E66 as an alternative route.

The RTA urges drivers to plan journeys in advance, expect delays, and follow diversion signs to ensure smoother travel.

Emirates Road Diversions: June 9–August 30

Traffic diversions are also in place on Emirates Road towards Sharjah from June 9 to August 30, 2025. The affected stretch lies between the Dubai–Al Ain interchange and the Ras Al Khor–Al Awir interchange, which is a high-traffic corridor for daily commuters.

To maintain traffic flow and safety, the RTA will implement proper signage and traffic management systems to guide drivers through alternate routes.
