Etihad Airways Announces 7 New Routes Across GCC, Europe, and Asia.

Etihad Airways has revealed plans to launch seven new destinations across the Gulf, Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, further expanding its global network and strengthening direct connectivity to Abu Dhabi.

The newly announced destinations include Almaty (Kazakhstan), Baku (Azerbaijan), Bucharest (Romania), Madina (Saudi Arabia), Tbilisi (Georgia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), and Yerevan (Armenia). These culturally rich and fast-growing cities reflect Etihad’s strategy to boost point-to-point travel and increase demand for tourism and trade in the UAE capital.

Flight tickets for these routes will go on sale in the coming days. Services are scheduled to begin in March 2026, with Madina operations starting earlier in November 2025.

With these additions, Etihad will have launched a total of 27 new destinations in 2025, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s growth. According to CEO Antonoaldo Neves, the goal is to position Abu Dhabi as a major international travel hub through strategic route expansion.

This announcement follows Etihad’s earlier launches of new destinations in 2024, including Prague, Warsaw, Sochi, and Atlanta. The airline also plans to add 13 more routes before the end of the year and recently unveiled seasonal routes for summer 2026 to Kraków (Poland), Salalah (Oman), and Kazan (Russia).
