Dubai Makes Culinary History With Its First Three Michelin-Starred Restaurants!

Dubai just hit a major milestone in the global culinary scene — the city is now home to not one, but two three Michelin-starred restaurants. At a glitzy ceremony held at Address Skyview, FZN by Bjorn Frantzen and Trèsind Studio were officially announced as the first Dubai restaurants to earn this prestigious honor.

The moment was met with standing ovations as the teams from both restaurants celebrated this massive achievement. It was especially historic for Trèsind Studio, which now holds the title of being the only Indian restaurant in the world to have three Michelin stars. Chef Himanshu Sahni marked the occasion with triumphant air punches, while Chef Bjorn Frantzen shared that his first visit to Dubai was 16 years ago and called the win “unreal.”

FZN, which combines modern European fine dining with Japanese influences, already holds three stars in Stockholm and Singapore. This new recognition in Dubai solidifies its place among the global culinary elite.

The announcement was made by Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide, during the guide’s 125th anniversary year. Globally, there are only around 140 restaurants that have earned three Michelin stars — making Dubai’s latest additions truly world-class.
