BurJuman Mall Introduces Ticketless Paid Parking System: Everything You Need to Know

BurJuman Mall has rolled out its new ticketless paid parking system, joining other major shopping destinations in Dubai like Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, and Dubai Mall. This new system uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) to streamline the parking experience and eliminate the need for paper tickets. Although the system has been upgraded, the parking fees remain unchanged — and some rules have been updated.

Here’s a breakdown of what visitors need to know about the new parking system at BurJuman:

Free and Paid Parking Timings

• The first 3 hours of parking are free for all visitors.

• After that, parking costs Dh20 per additional hour (or part thereof).

• Free parking is available on Sundays and public holidays.

• Vox Cinemas customers can enjoy an additional 3-hour free parking, but must validate at the Vox ticket counter.

How to Pay

• Visitors must validate their vehicle at the payment machines using cash, card, or online payment.

• Card-only payments are accepted at the exit; no cash is accepted there.

• After payment or validation, vehicles must exit within 15 minutes.

• Re-entry for free parking is only allowed after 6 hours of exiting the mall.

Rules and Penalties

• Improper parking or misuse of the facility may result in a Dh250 fine per incident, and vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.

• Overnight parking is not allowed. Violations can lead to a Dh350/day fine.

• Private buses are not permitted to use the parking area.

• Electric vehicles must use designated EV charging stations for a maximum of 1 hour and cannot use regular mall sockets.

• Speed limit within the parking area is 20 km/h.

• Reserved spots for People of Determination and families must be respected.

• All parking is at the owner’s risk. BurJuman Mall is not liable for any damage or loss.

• Any accident or loss must be reported to Dubai Police.

• Parking is not pre-allocated — use any available spot, following signage and regulations.

• The mall management reserves the right to deny access or amend the rules as needed.
