Abu Dhabi Police Urges Drivers to Move Vehicles After Minor Accidents to Avoid Dh1,000 Fine

Abu Dhabi Police is urging all motorists involved in minor traffic accidents to move their vehicles to the nearest safe location instead of stopping in the middle of the road. This move helps avoid unnecessary traffic congestion and enhances road safety.

Drivers are advised to use the Saed app to report minor accidents digitally. Failure to move the vehicle from the road without valid justification can result in a Dh1,000 fine and six traffic points.

How to Report a Minor Accident Using the Saed App

1. Download the Saed app from your mobile app store.

2. Select “Report an Accident.”

3. Enter your mobile number.

4. The system will automatically pin your accident location.

5. Choose the accident type and other relevant details.

6. Upload a copy of your vehicle registration.

7. Upload a copy of your driver’s licence.

8. Submit photos of your vehicle and the damaged parts.

9. Submit photos of the other vehicle and its damaged parts.

10. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

11. You will receive the Accident Report via WhatsApp.
