Ajman Introduces 1,263 New Paid Parking Spots Across the City.
Ajman Municipality has announced the activation of 1,263 new paid parking spaces across key streets in the city, starting Saturday, June 21, 2025. The initiative aims to improve parking management and ensure smoother traffic flow across the emirate.
The newly introduced paid parking zones are located on:
Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Street (Garden City Towers)
Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi Street (Ajman Pearl Towers)
Al-Baraa bin Malik Street
Osama bin Zaid Street
Parking in Ajman remains free on Fridays and public holidays. For example, parking was made free during the Eid Al Adha break from June 5 to June 8, 2025.
This follows similar developments in other emirates. Earlier this year, Sharjah Municipality implemented paid parking in Al Dhaid City, effective from January 1, 2025. Parking fees apply from Saturday to Thursday between 8 AM and 10 PM, with exceptions for specific zones that charge throughout the week.
In Dubai, public parking is divided into Zones A, B, C, and D — with premium areas now labeled AP, BP, CP, and DP. Charges in premium zones can reach Dh6 per hour during peak hours (8 AM–10 AM and 4 PM–8 PM), excluding weekends and public holidays.
