Free Wi-Fi Now Available at All Bus and Marine Transport Stations in Dubai.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the completion of its free Wi-Fi rollout across all 43 bus and marine transport stations in the city. The initiative, launched in partnership with telecom provider e&, allows public transport users to stay connected via smartphones, tablets, and laptops while commuting or waiting at stations.

This move is part of RTA’s ongoing efforts to boost digital transformation across its services. By enabling seamless connectivity, RTA aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers and provide more convenience through technology-driven solutions.

RTA also stated that the Wi-Fi service will undergo continuous evaluation and upgrades to maintain high-quality connectivity across all locations. The goal is to ensure reliable internet access for commuters using buses and marine transport throughout Dubai.

Earlier this year, RTA introduced its 360 Services Policy — a major digital initiative designed to shift services to self-service platforms. This policy allows users to access RTA’s services through apps like Dubai Now, eliminating the need for in-person visits.

This latest development reflects Dubai’s wider push toward smart city infrastructure, where connectivity and convenience go hand in hand.
